About CKaen
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
One of my earliest memories regarding music has to be the moments when I was just a baby in a car-seat driving everywhere with my mom just listening to early 1990-2000's R&B and I just remember how much I loved it. I loved the feeling it gave me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Deftones, Koi No Yokan
Prince Royce, Prince Royce
USHER, Raymond v Raymond (Expanded Edition)
It'd be tough to decide on my favorite 3, so instead these are albums that shaped me. My mother played Prince Royce as she taught me bachata. Usher was one of the first artists I'd heard. Deftones & rock bands caused me to experiment with new genres
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Haunt Me”
This is hard since every song I write has a special meaning, but if I had to choose It'd be Haunt Me. It was my first real dive in alternative music and it also really opened my peers to my music, helping me get more comfortable in doing what I loved
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
One definitely has to be when I finally completed my merch site and put it up for the public, promoting it and all. So many people loved the designs and were interested in getting some. It was also just a big stepping stone for me and an achievement.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I would absolutely love to have a concert or event where I perform my music in front of a large audience. I love performing and I have on stage, but hearing a crowd cheer my music would just be a surreal feeling and I can't wait to experience it
