Conductor Claudio Vandelli has scored long-lasting successes in Russia, Central Asia, and Germany. The conductor of the Würth Philharmoniker in Germany and for a time the permanent guest conductor of the Novaya Rossiya State Symphony Orchestra in Russia, he is also identified with youth orchestras and with the establishment of institutions that serve talented young musicians. Among those is the Pan-Caucasian Youth Orchestra, which he launched in the Republic of Georgia in 2019. Vandelli has made several recordings, including one of the Variations on a Theme of Joseph Haydn in B flat major, Op. 56a, in 2025.
