Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At 14, my friends and I performed “Ain’t No Mountain High” for our entire school district. I stood on stage in an all-black suit and straw fedora, feeling completely alive. It never felt too big — that’s when I knew I wanted to perform.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Dirty Heads, Any Port in a Storm (Special Edition) Drake, Take Care (Deluxe Version) Fall Out Boy, Folie à Deux (Exclusive Edition) They each mark a significant moment of my life fall out boy was the anthem to my middle school years, Take Care got me through a very hard junior and senior year and any port in the storm got me through my first deployment and foray into adulthood
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “2016 (Radio Edit)” My son runs around my house asking Siri and Alexa to play 2016 by Daddy and knows all the words to the song. It makes me laugh the entire time watching him dance and jump around to a song about a time before he was even born.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I heard my Album on a random playlist at a barbershop I almost started crying in the chair, It was such a special moment to glance around watching everyone bobbing their head to it while i was getting cut.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'm excited for all of it. I enjoy making music across the spectrum so exploring new sounds and getting to perform shows around the country spreading joy and nostalgia. I'd love to perform at a big festival but that's a story for the future.
