About $co Jackson!
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I pulled out some pots and pans, two spoons, and began beating on them like they were a drum set. My mother came into the kitchen and was amazed at what she saw. Natural born talent, I bet you can guess what my first Christmas present was.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Kendrick Lamar, good kid, m.A.A.d city (Deluxe)
Maxwell, Maxwell's Urban Hang Suite
Michael Jackson, The Essential Michael Jackson
They all embodied me as a person to be honest. Not only are they sonically pleasing to the ear, but I actually relate to them in every fashion.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“De$Tiny”
This is me in a nutshell. Sensitive but bold, but simplistic yet eclectic and eccentric; with a sexy and smooth tone that pulls you in like gravity, I thrive to make music of this caliber going forward because this is who I am and I wear it everyday.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
It was 2022, I was in the studio recording and I noticed that after I recorded the track and began listening too it, what I envisioned for the song to sound like actually came into reality. All the work I put in up too that point wasn’t wasted.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Not really honestly, maybe to get my music to the masses to enjoy; to continue making truthful and sonically pleasing music no matter the genre, music that I can look back and say to myself, damn, I really made that.
