About Cohen's Ghost
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
The first time I sat on my brother's drum kit, I was just four. I didn't get in trouble as he was a Marine and was in Vietnam. By the time he came home, he was actually happy with my drumming and even helped me become a drummer.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Peter Gabriel, Peter Gabriel 3: Melt (Remastered)
Seal, Seal: Best 1991-2004 (Deluxe Version)
The Police, The Police (Remastered)
For me, the best songwriters, both musically but even more so, lyrically, are Peter Gabriel, Sting, and Seal, these three artists had the biggest impact on me as well as influence.

“Slingshot to Your Heart”
I felt a need to write a love song from my science nerd perspective for the woman I love. Once I saw the story in my head; an astronaut needing to return to his love, written with stream of consciousness. Her reaction to the song told me I did good.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
In the 80s I played drums with String Cheese Incident artist Keller Williams in a band we were in together, I got to play 2nd drummer in a soul band with 2 drummers. The 1st time I ever played keyboards instead of drums for a band was in 2002.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Though I am very sated today about my wants, as I have done a lot in my life, two of my dreams when I was younger was to play drums with Phil Collins and Manu Katche.
