Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memories are sitting behind a drum set playing for hours and learning all sorts of rhythms and styles. This made learning the guitar easier when I started playing at 13. Suddenly, everything was connected.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Astrud Gilberto, The Astrud Gilberto Album Feist, Let It Die The Beatles, Abbey Road (Remastered) The Beatles' masterpiece - Listen to Paul's bass playing on "Something" and Lennon's avant-garde ending on "I Want You (She's So Heavy)". Astrud Gilberto - Her voice is paradise! Feist - Gatekeeper and Mushaboom! Need I say more?
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Brooklyn” I love this song because when i wrote it, I had never been to Brooklyn. Just the idea of the city was enough to inspire the song.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing at The Grammy Museum in LA in 2016 was a special career moment for me. I was able to perform my songs and talk about songwriting to a group of high school students at a venue with legendary status. It was a high honor and tons of fun too!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Selling out The Beacon Theatre in NYC and the next album, there's always more songs to seek!
