Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Sitting at the piano in my grandparents’ house, I tried to copy melodies; learning by ear before I had any formal training. Around the same time, I began violin lessons in elementary school, shaped by patient teachers with sharp ears.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bonobo, Migration Leifur James, A Louder Silence Nils Frahm, All Melody Each have stayed with me over time. Music to dance to, cry to, and heal to. They’ve quietly shaped my own creative path.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “San Rafael Swell” San Rafael Swell holds a moment I didn’t want to lose. Composed of field recordings from a forest just before a storm, and memories of friends creating something temporary and real. The synth and piano lines feel inseparable from that place and time.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Anytime I receive a personal message or video of my music being played somewhere and resonating with someone. Knowing a track reached a place or moment I wasn’t part of still feels quietly meaningful to me.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? A sunrise set on the Mayan Warrior. Letting the music carry the transition from night into morning, ideally on Friday morning on the playa.
