About Corr Kendricks
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
One of my earliest music memories was collaborating with Marsha Ambrosius. Hearing her bring our song to life was surreal. Her artistry elevated the record and inspired me. That moment remains one of my proudest milestones as an artist. forever!!!!!!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Michael Jackson, Thriller
My top three are Thriller for its fearless creativity and vision. 2Pac’s All Eyez on Me for its raw honesty and range. R. Kelly’s Chocolate Factory for its songwriting, storytelling and production. Each inspired my artistry. It still drives me now.!!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Heart on My Sleeve”
“Heart on My Sleeve” is deeply personal. I wrote it while grieving the loss of father, uncle, brother and Nana, while navigating strained relationships. I chose vulnerability to create a timeless song that comforts, connects and moves every listener.
