Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a 4 year old I would listen to other children taking their piano lessons with my ear pressed to the Girl’s Club music room door.🥰
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Eva Cassidy, The Best of Eva Cassidy Kirk Franklin, Losing My Religion Luther Vandross, Luther Vandross These artists create a sense of peace for me and a great sense of humor from Luther Vandross’s final recordings. Tell us why you chose this song. “Gigi Shuffle” I composed this song for my 4 legged canine friend that I rescued from New York City. She was clearly miss treated, but when I played my piano she would hold her head high and shuffle past me. When I play her song only the good memories remain.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I traveled to China in 2010 and performed in Peoples Park. I am sure they did not understand the lyrics, but I was received generously in Shanghai.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I am also a visual artist and photographer. I have completed a cofee table book which I hope to publish soon. It contains a section of Native America Today, showing the various add-mixtures of the indigenous peoples of America. Wunnohteaonk!
