Crookers, the Milan-based duo of DJ Phra and DJ Bot, earned cult status in the house world for a slew of EPs of their original chaotic mélanges before their slinky remix of Kid Cudi’s "Day ‘N Nite" took them to another level. That single reached the top 10 in England in 2009 and helped rocket the pair to the elite list of producers. Crookers’ own creations mold anarchy into neat hyperbeat piles, melding the breathless excitement of the early days of rave with a more 21st-century version of hip-hop-fueled house.
