Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Growing up in Nigeria, I fell in love with music videos. I loved watching them & seeing the stories people told. Experiencing various genres & discovering great music was a fun part of my childhood. It sparked the love for music I still have today.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? M.I Abaga, MI 2: The Movie Wande Coal, Mushin 2 Mo' Hits YoungBoy Never Broke Again, AI YoungBoy All three of these albums hold significance for me. They are all so well written and produced from start to finish. Each of them made me feel something special when I first heard them, and I still listen to them today.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Jara” JARA represents many firsts for me. It was the first song I recorded, the first song I released, and the first song I made a music video for. It was my introduction as an artist in the industry, so it will always hold a special place.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Hearing my song on the radio and seeing my video on TV for the first time. I’m so used to hearing other big artists on radio and seeing them on TV, so seeing and hearing myself was a special and rewarding experience.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like to get a Top 10 spot on the Apple Music Nigeria charts and eventually hold the #1 spot. I would also like to see my music chart globally.
