About Daisy Close
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
When I was young, I would put on concerts in the living room for my mom and stuffed animals after memorizing my favorite songs off the radio as well as several songs I had written that week to accumulate into a grand show to invite my mom to see.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Amy Winehouse, Back to Black
Beyoncé, BEYONCÉ
Teddy Swims, I've Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1)
These three albums have combined my love and passion for storytelling and singing with an R&B and soulful vibe and captivating powerhouse vocals.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“sell my soul”
"sell my soul" is so special to me because it's an anthem that encourages others to stand firm on their morals and boundaries and to resist temptation from the world around us.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Meeting one of my listeners at a live concert and seeing the emotional turmoil she felt as she resonated deeply with my music. All I aspire to as an artist is to touch hearts the way I touched hers all over the world one day.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Yes! So many things, but I'd love to do a world tour one day.
