About Daniel Lima
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I remember sunday mornings of music appreciation with my family. Magical moments, of discovery and sharing. The beginning a journey that led me to be a musician, but most of all, to keep searching for good music that's able to move people.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Chris Cornell, Euphoria Mourning
Incubus, Morning View
The Beatles, Rubber Soul
Rubber Soul ( The Beatles ) - a major shift in their songwriting skills .
Euphoria Mourning ( Chris Cornell ) - a perfect singer songwriter album, deep and delicate.
Morning View ( Incubus ) - new era for for rock music, beauty and power.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Best That We Can”
This tune was made during the pandemics, so it brings memories that are both bitter and sweet. Somehow, i feel I was able to find beauty during such hard times. I love how organic the recording sounds.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
I'll never forget moments like recording "Ready For The Day" with Donavon Frankenreiter, " The Long And Winding Road" with Beto Guedes, "Realize" EP at the Sunset Sound Studio, and opening Greta Van Fleet's concert in Rio.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
It's a big list. But let's say a couple here: jamming with Eddie Vedder and playing the Red Rocks.
