Most active in Europe, conductor Case Scaglione built his career as assistant and then associate conductor of the New York Philharmonic. He has made several recordings of lesser-known material in Europe. After earning a degree in orchestral conducting and studying with Gustav Meier, Scaglione began a conducting career that landed him a position as assistant conductor of the New York Philharmonic. He became an associate conductor in 2014, and conducted and recorded with orchestras around the world. He made his recording debut in 2018 backing violinist Daniel Röhn on the album The Golden Violin: Music of the 20s. Still conducting myriad orchestras well into the 21st century, he released Rita Strohl, Vol. 3: Musique orchestrale in 2024.
