In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 13 years old, I played a CD that belonged to my Mother in our sound system at home. That CD was a playlist of the biggest Kizomba and Guetto Zouk hits of that time. By the third song, I knew I wanted to make music and be an Artist.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Dannax the Prinz, S.K.W.A.H. Drake, Certified Lover Boy James Brown, James Brown Live At The Apollo, 1962 The albums have a combination of great production, amazing tunes, incredible vocal performances and they embody multiple layers of who I am as a producer mainly.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Resiliência” This song made me realize that I was more than just a singer. I knew exactly how to tell a story and involve my audience with the topic. The lyrics are very deep and it was a way of doing a therapy session.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2014 I shared the stage with one of the greatest Artist from Angola. At that point I knew that I was destined to be doing what I do.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My ultimate dream is to have a beneficiary concert in my hometown to promote the culture of the area and the many talents all over the country.
