Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is sitting at the piano with my Dad (a self-taught pianist) and following his hands as they moved around playing honky-tonk and boogie-woogie. I was mesmerized. The seed for my musical journey had been planted.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bill Evans, Alone (Expanded Edition) Remastered Billy Joel, Billy Joel - Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 & Vol. 2 Frank Sinatra, Songs for Young Lovers I grew up on Long Island so Billy Joel was a huge influence. His Greatest Hits songbook was always on the piano. The Bill Evans Alone album taught me valuable lessons on voicings and improvisation. Sinatra instilled a love for standards.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Ny/La” This is a special song released as a tribute to Doug McCormick who passed away 1 year ago today. It's based on a song originally written by Doug and Paul Anka. Doug and I added new material and gave it a fresh take.
