About Dark Shadow X
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I was about 10, growing up in Oleśnica, Poland, when I won a playback show contest at school. My name ended up in the local paper. I've never forgotten that feeling. It was the first time I knew music was for me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Bad Bunny, WHERE SHE GOES - Single
DJ Nelson, Jay Wheeler, Platónico
KAROL G, MAÑANA SERÁ BONITO (BICHOTA SEASON)
These are the records I put on when I want to feel something. Each one proves a melody can be soft and still hit hard, and that's exactly what I chase in my own songs. I have enormous respect for these artists.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Angel Without Wings”
It's the most personal song I've written, about someone who saves you without ever trying to. I wanted every word to feel whispered to one person. Tek on vocals and Ariel Chobaz on mastering took it exactly where I heard it in my head.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Stepping on stage at Summer Jam 2 at Backstage Bar & Billiards in downtown Las Vegas and hearing the crowd sing my own words back to me. That's the moment it stopped feeling like a dream and started feeling like a career.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
A full album that tells one love story front to back, and a tour where I sing these songs to fans face to face in every city. A collab with an artist who inspired me. Mostly, I want to keep writing songs that make someone feel less alone.
