In the artistās words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I wasn't allowed to watch music video channels growing up but after school I randomly came across 106 & Park and saw Jagged Edge's "Where The Party At" video and immediately fell in love with the culture. Jamaican households are strict haha.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on AppleĀ Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Buju Banton, 'Til Shiloh (Expanded) JAY-Z, Vol.2... Hard Knock Life Mary J. Blige, Share My World These albums shaped what I like in music sonically. I have to credit my father and older brother Tajh for putting me on to this music because they were the DJ's of my early family road trips. These three influenced me fasho. Baduizm is up there too.
Find a song of yours on AppleĀ Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. āIt's OK to Cry (Call Your Friends)ā This was a bounce back song for me. I was in a deep depression and had a falling out with a lot of close people so I expressed that. The phone call at the end of the song is a REAL conversation that patched things up with my best friend.
