Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
My best early memory is a concert by Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Lisbon. They played a Mozart piano concerto, with Maria João Pires, and The Miraculous Mandarin, B. Bartok. It was a mind blowing moment that marked my teen days as a oboe student

“Cântico negro, op. 19”
The first work I commissioned for English horn. It as the same title as a wonderful poem by Portuguese poet, José Régio.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
That's a difficult one to answer. Maybe the recording of my first album with pianist Pedro Ferro.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Keep doing music! Play Strauss oboe concerto and Bartok's The Miraculous Mandarin.
