In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
The two of us have been playing music since we were teens, and so one even those earliest of memories are of hanging out together and learning tunes off the radio. Those early days was a lot of RHCP, AK3, Brand New, and TBS.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Alter Bridge, Fortress
Bahamas, Sad Hunk
Third Eye Blind, Third Eye Blind

“Smoke”
I wrote Smoke in my early 20s and it was probably my first attempt at a song with a double meaning. The idea was that it was about a relationship falling apart, but the idea came from having a severe cold. The house that was burning down was my body.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
In the early 00s when we were a four piece and performing a lot, we played some amazing shows, and to some sizable crowds in the Memphis and Nashville areas. Those were some special shows. Honorable mention to having our first pressing of vinyl.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
We would love to join a tour and get back to seeing audiences live more often.
