About Deejay Mo'J
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
One of my earliest musical memories is hearing Persian melodies at family gatherings. The rhythm brought everyone together. Later, R&B and electronic music shaped my sound, inspiring me to connect cultures through music.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
2Pac, All Eyez On Me
Michael Jackson, Thriller (25th Anniversary) Deluxe Edition
USHER, Confessions (Expanded Edition)
I chose these albums because they shaped three sides of my musical identity: 2Pac’s raw storytelling, Usher’s R&B emotion, and Michael Jackson’s unmatched creativity. They taught me to combine truth, melody, rhythm and global impact.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Prince Of Persia”
I chose Prince of Persia because it carries my Iranian roots wherever I go. It connects Brussels to Tehran through emotion, rhythm and modern production, and it feels like the clearest statement of who I am as an artist.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Receiving my YouTube Official Artist Channel and seeing every release united under Deejay Mo’J was unforgettable. It made years of creating feel real and inspired me to aim even higher.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Performing at Tomorrowland is at the top of my bucket list. I want to bring my Persian-Belgian sound to a global stage and unite thousands of people from different cultures through one rhythm.
