Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Drumming along to songs on random items in B&Q and thinking of how I would chop the samples I heard if I was DJ Premier.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Burial, Untrue Nas, Illmatic Wu-Tang Clan, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) These 3 albums are not only some of my favourite albums ever created, but also the main projects that inspired the sound that I have developed in my own music, particularly the focus on storytelling and atmosphere is present in all 3 albums.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Like It” This felt like a changing point in my production journey and also the development of my own style and sound, drawing influence from UKG, future garage and dubstep. This is one of my favourite tracks I have made.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Having my songs played on the radio, especially when my track 'U Don't Wanna' was played twice on BBC Radio 1, I was buzzing.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? A lot, mainly to carry on making and releasing music that I love, collaborating with artists that I am a fan of, and getting out there and performing as much as I can.
