About Tom Zanetti
Before the sports cars, racehorses, and private jets, British rapper/producer Tom Zanetti worked as a factory worker, butcher, call-center operator—anything to put food on the table. But after owning a restaurant and then ending up homeless, his determination to survive made Zanetti, born in Leeds in 1989, one of the city’s most successful club promoters. Eventually, his work behind the scenes led to a documentary about his life, and that, in turn, led to stints on the mic and studio sessions with producer friends like Chris Lorenzo. Since 2015, Zanetti has steadily built up a catalog of house and bassline anthems like “Darlin’,” “More & More,” and “Didn’t Know,” pairing his playful rapping with floor-filling beats. Much like the muscular selfies on his social media channels, Zanetti’s songs are a testament to hard work, a positive attitude, and boundless confidence. As he raps on “Flight Mode,” “I land in the private, step on a island… Want a table, a ocean, yeah, I’ll buy them.”
