Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Being in a rock band at a young age and having to be the one that sings. At that age I thought that singing wasn't fun and that I rather bang on the drums, fast forward and now I love to sing. It's the only instrument that is unique to everyone.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? M83, Hurry Up, We're Dreaming (Deluxe Edition) Metallica, Ride the Lightning (Deluxe Edition) The Cure, Disintegration 2010 Remaster These albums all shaped my musical knowledge at a young age and pushed me into the direction of producing my own music. My music pulls elements that all come from the production, style, and writing of these three.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Running” I love this song because it was written with the idea of that nostalgia you miss when you move away from home. Living in a new city means relearning everything and "Running" is about the piece of you that is missing once you leave home.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I believe that the most memorable moment in my career is finding my own sound. I spent almost 4 years making different genres until I landed on the one I make today. It was a long journey but very worth while to land on what I make now.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My all-time bucket list as an artist is playing at Austin City Limits which is my home town festival. I live just a couple minutes' walk from the festival fields and have been going ever since I was a little kid.
