Growing up in West Kingston, Jamaica, reggae singer Louis Grandisonâaka Dexta Dapsâwas inspired by such local heroes as dancehall musician Shabba Ranks.
â âMorning Love,â his 2014 debut single, was a hit on local radio, and 2015âs â7 Elevenâ and âJealous Ovaâ (with Tifa) were Jamaican dance-club favorites.
