About DEZ
One of the original members of the Jawga Boys, an Athens, Georgia-based outfit that seamlessly folded country and rap in on each other with humor and soulfulness, bringing mud bog culture to the world while still keeping an ear to what's coming out of the cities, Dez, known as one of the fastest hick-hop artists in the game, eventually embarked on a solo career, although he continued to be strongly associated with the Jawga Boyz, being co-billed and featured on the group's 2014 Tailgate Music album. ~ Steve Leggett
