In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
DIAL formed as a songwriting project between Hugh Daly and Matt Leo in their parent's basement. Elijah David joined the duo to produce (and drum on) their first demos. But it wasn't long before they needed a real drummer (Bobby Thornton).
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
The Jesus and Mary Chain, Honey's Dead (Expanded Version)
The Stooges, Fun House
The Verve, A Storm in Heaven (2016 Remastered / Deluxe)
The sonic attitude of these masterworks cannot be overstated. They have modified our brain chemistry. We would not be who we are as musicians, if it weren't for these three albums.

“Bedlam”
'Bedlam' was written within the time it takes to play the song, a day before entering the studio to record our EP. We walked into practice, Elijah started playing the riff, then we all joined in. We knew then and there it was going on the EP.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
At one of our shows, Matt fell into Elijah's microphone stand during a song. Elijah went to sing, but there was no microphone, he looked left and there was no Matt. Good times were had by all (except the sound engineer).
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
A monstrous record deal, a world tour and a private jet (preferably a little bigger than Led Zeppelin's). Thanks.
