Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was a kid my father used to play records for me and make me memorize the artist, date of release, and why I like the albums. This was teaching me music theory and how to analyze a record.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beyoncé, B'Day (Deluxe Edition) Mariah the Scientist, RY RY WORLD Victoria Monét, JAGUAR - EP I love these albums because they are by strong women who are talented. I feel like my music is similar and also represents who I am as a listener and artist. Songwriting is very important to me and every song on each album is perfect.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Winner” “Winner” is a ballad about love and desperation. I created a world where I'm in dire need of a winner — because most of my suitors are losers. The song explores my family issues, sexuality, and the daily mantra of expressing what I need.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Releasing my debut song "Winner". It took me 2.5 years to release the song and I am so proud of myself for it finally being out into the the world.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to go on tour, win a grammy, get my songs synced in TV or film.
