Artist Biography
Geoff Kirkwood, the British DJ and producer who goes by the name Man Power, makes spacy, sparkling house tracks influenced by disco, post-punk, and electro. One of the founders of Last Waltz, a club night as well as a production team, Kirkwood initially started Man Power as an anonymous project, releasing a self-titled debut album in 2015. He founded a label called Me Me Me and kept up a busy touring and release schedule, additionally releasing haunting soundscapes as Bed Wetter and zoned-out techno as MPX. He also collaborated with Juan Maclean as Juan Power, and worked with singer Amy Douglas on a 2020 single. He's continued expanding his extensive discography with releases like the 2020 full-length Economy and the 2022 EP Closing the Loop.
