In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember the exact moment I fell in love with Hip-Hop. My mother had a cassette tape of the "Set It Off" Soundtrack. It had Bone Thugs-n-Harmony's song "Days of Our Livez" on it. From that moment I knew it was the greatest genre ever.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 50 Cent, Get Rich or Die Tryin Kanye West, 808s & Heartbreak Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life 808s & Heartbreak is the most influential rap album of the century. It created the modern sound for our genre. Get Rich or Die Tryin is the greatest debut album for any artist in any genre. Songs in the Key of Life IS the greatest album ever.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Down4me” This song perfectly captures what I love about hip-hop. Using perspectives (sometimes not your own) to tell a story only the writer could. I wrote this song after getting sober. It's a conversation with my brother. A tough, but necessary one.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I would say playing shows all over the country. Sometimes to thousands, sometimes to the sound people, but always giving it 110%. I've been acknowledged by the greats. Respect is earned in this game. I feel like I've done that.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to play overseas! Hip-hop is appreciated all over the world. I'd love to see that first hand.
