Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memory is playing a toy snare drum in my daycare graduation, specifically because my daycare teacher saw me beating on my desks constantly. She directly inspired my dream of being a musician. Thank you Mrs. Mary!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? FKA twigs, CAPRISONGS GOJIRA, The Link Magdalena Bay, Imaginal Disk These three album encompass the majority of my modern musical influence and aare my favorite to listen to in my own time. From the sonic qualities, the mixing and production of everything, to the drumming for 'The Link', it all directly inspires me.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Misery” Misery was written for two of my best friends that I've ever had. My dogs mean more than anything in this world to me and this some of my greatest work. I believe deep emotion creates the best art, and this a personal favorite of my own.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I have had many memorable moments from playing drums for Jarren Benton in Dallas, to opening for Rittz. I have also gotten to meet Ruby from Suicideboys, and my brother Chxxmpa opened for Three Six Mafia in Dallas with our music and my engineering.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to be recognized on a greater scale, but not necessarily be famous. I want to live off of my music, meet some of my heroes, and see some of the world at least once, all with my dogs. I will be just fine then.
