In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. We both came to music through completely different routes but arrived at the same place, a shared instinct for records that felt alive. When we met, that common ground was immediately obvious, and Straight from the Heart came directly out of that.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Straight From The Heart (Radio Edit)” It reached number one on the UK Dance Chart twice and the national Top 10, carried almost entirely by underground pirate radio with minimal national radio support, the foundation on which Sweet Like Chocolate was built.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Our label rejected Sweet Like Chocolate as a follow-up. Our 2-step sound seemed alien in mainstream clubs where 4/4 House music prevailed. Proving them wrong, not just for us but for the whole scene, by topping the UK charts was deeply satisfying.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Over 25 years on and UK garage, old school or new, is as strong as it ever was. Whatever that leads to, we follow instinct rather than bucket lists. The music has always known where it wants to go.
