About Doris
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Andrew: I remember discovering that the bass line in “I Was Made For Lovin’ You” by Kiss were not played by a real bass but by a machine that repeated a pattern.🎶
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
DIIV, Oshin (Bonus Track Version)
Real Estate, Days
The War on Drugs, Lost In the Dream
We love the mix of jangly shoegazer guitars and the dream-pop catchy melodies.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Supernatural Sex Dream”
This comes up as explicit but there's nothing explicit about having a Supernatural Sex Dream.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
The album was recorded in a bunker that used to be an airbase in the Cotswolds.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
We just love to play at London pubs and occasionally travel to festivals.
A European tour would be ace.
