Guitarist, vocalist, producer and songwriter Doug Tuttle's first band, Mmoss, was a deeply psychedelic project and and when they spilt Tuttle shifted musical gears. Recording in a home studio, Tuttle built records out of various folk/rock, pysch and classic rock elements, while always injecting his tuneful melodies with laid back energy and showing off his guitar skills. His records started off lo-fi and buzzy, but he soon began to sand the edges off . By the time of 2017's Peace Potato, he was crafting low-key versions of mainstream '70s rock that wouldn't sound out of place next to Tom Petty on a playlist.
