In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember listening to Nirvana's Nevermind album while in my friend's backyard in the middle of summer. The drums were visceral, tribal almost. It was heavy but melodic. This was me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? City and Colour, Little Hell Pink Floyd, The Wall Underoath, They're Only Chasing Safety Beyond nostalgia, these albums shape how I view and write music. The theatre of it, the movies it plays in my head, and the melodies that never seem to stop playing in my head.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moment so far has been recording at Catherine North Studios where City and Colour recorded one of my favourite albums (Little Hell). It was a surreal experience, I could feel the vibe from that album as I recorded mine.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There is plenty on my bucket list, but my first item is playing a summer festival. I love the way folk music reverberates on a summer night... dreamlike, haunting, and warm.
