In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Learning how to play One by Metallica on an old acoustic guitar, I thought being able to play the opening line was the biggest musical play of all time!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? John Coltrane, A Love Supreme (Deluxe Edition) Deluxe Edition Mac DeMarco, Salad Days Tame Impala, Lonerism Lonerism is an absolute masterpiece which I still learn new things from on each listen. A Love Supreme is one of the biggest artistic statements i've ever heard. Salad Days taught me that it's possible to create music on my own and so well written.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I'm extremely fortunate to have had many experiences freelancing as a musician, one was for sure playing a gig at the Metro Theatre with White Blanks supporting Dune Rats after being a quiet jazz kid playing for a rowdy energetic crowd was awesome.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We want to create artistic statements that break the mould of the genres we love to live in, things that feel personal and express how we feel about ourselves and the world around us- as many albums as possible of this!
