Argentinian rapper Duki makes Latin trap with cold intensity and a dash of melody.
• He started as a freestyle battle rapper in 2013, competing in his home of Buenos Aires.
• Duki cites the A$AP Mob song “Hella H**s” for introducing him to trap music. He appreciated the subgenre’s forward-thinking take on rap.
• He’s a member of supergroup Modo Diablo with fellow rappers Ysy A and Neo Pistea. The trio released the hard-hitting single “TRAP.N.EXPORT” in 2019.
• Another one of Duki’s key collaborators has been Puerto Rican phenom Bad Bunny. They appear together on the 2018 remix to KHEA’s “Loca” and the track “Hablomas Mañana” from Bunny’s 2020 album YHLQMDLG.
• In 2020, on his 24th birthday, Duki released the eight-track project 24, which includes features and production from Juicy J, Gallagher, Young Cister, and more.
