About DVBBS
Ontario brothers Christopher and Alexandre van den Hoef formed DVBBS (pronounced “Dubs”) in 2012 and had their first hit within a year with the Borgeous collab “Tsunami.” The track’s staccato synths and gated snares helped set the tone for early-2010s EDM at its most anthemic, also becoming a favorite among sports teams, having served as the Philadelphia Phillies home-run song since 2019. In their career, the duo also counts 2 Chainz, blackbear, Aloe Blacc, Wiz Khalifa, Galantis, Tyga, Kane Brown, Steve Aoki, and more among their many collaborators. Whether it’s rave-ready hits, sleek pop ballads, boisterous disco house, or silky fusions of emo, rap, and R&B, the brothers—who also launched their own label Kanary Records—never keep their feet in one place for long.
