Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest memories of music was hearing Anita Baker “Giving You The Best” on Sundays while my mother would clean.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 50 Cent, Get Rich or Die Tryin JAŸ-Z, Reasonable Doubt Tory Lanez, Chixtapes (Trilogy) All there of these albums shaped me as an artist. They simultaneously enhanced my ability to song write and tell a fluid story.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Sexyy Red” It was the first song that gained nationwide attention and the ears of DJs all around. It still plays in clubs till this day.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing alongside Black Thought and the Legendary Roots Crew at the Roots Picnic in my hometown Philadelphia.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to create, inspire, and live more. Not only that I want to leave a legacy for those after me.
