About DXWAVE
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
It was when I first practiced and played the guitar during my elementary school years. Back then, I would practice the guitar all night long as if I was being pulled by something. I imagined myself playing a cool guitar solo on a big stage.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Daft Punk, Get Lucky (feat. Pharrell Williams & Nile Rodgers) [Daft Punk Remix]
Michael Jackson, The Essential Michael Jackson
Radiohead, The Best of Radiohead
Since my childhood, Michael Jackson has been my eternal idol. He is the everlasting King of Pop. Daft Punk are pioneers of the musical approach I aspire to. I love Radiohead for their experimental and challenging style of music.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Free Falling (feat. J.O.Y)”
The song is a reinterpretation of the sensibilities of synthwave and funky house, blended with modern electronic beats. It features a harmonious combination of dynamic grooves and melodic lines.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
It was after the band I had been active in as a guitarist disbanded, and I made my debut performance as a club DJ on a house club stage.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
1. Performing on the Ultra Miami stage
2. Reaching No. 1 on the Billboard charts
3. Achieving the No. 1 spot in global streaming on Apple Music
