About Dysart MacPherson
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Before I could even walk, I remember taking my Grandma's wooden spoons and banging them on pots and pans until they would snap. This foreshadowed my passion for playing the drums.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Bruce Springsteen, Wrecking Ball
Fleetwood Mac, Rumours Super Deluxe Edition
I chose We Are The Same cause it's one of the most underrated albums. I think Gord Downie's writing peaked on here. Wrecking Ball was played when I was little so it brings me nostalgia. Rumours is one of the best selling albums I think is deserved.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Sunny Skies”
This song is special to me because of the career milestones that have come with releasing it. My music has been introduced to so many around the world and I'm grateful this song made that happen for me.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
When I opened my messages, and saw that people were congratulating me on 30k streams before I even knew, it gave me an unbelievable morale boost. I couldn't believe it and had to go look it up myself!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Releasing my first full length album, and to tour it around the world!
