I saw Emmet Swimming at a dive bar during college three-chord indie rock that somehow
captured everything complicated about being young and lost. 25 yrs later
I'm using those same chord progressions to document plural chaos and starting over at 57.

They taught me that vulnerability doesn't require soft delivery. Daughtry
proved grunge works with clear vocals, DMB showed me complexity can still

forced me to look at why I'm drawn to people I can rescue, and why walking away from that
pattern feels harder than staying in it.
