About Editors
The members of indie rock band Editors originally met while studying music technology at England’s Staffordshire University.
∙ Editors scored a record deal after a demo version of their song “Bullets” drew 30 label reps to one of their gigs.
∙ Their debut album, The Back Room, was nominated for the 2006 Mercury Prize.
∙ In This Light and On This Evening was produced by Flood, best-known for his work with U2, Nine Inch Nails, and Depeche Mode.
∙ “No Sound But the Wind” was featured on the soundtrack for The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
∙ Several tracks on their 2015 album, In Dreams, feature backing vocals from Rachel Goswell of Slowdive and Mojave 3.
∙ All six of the band’s studio albums have reached the Top 10 in the UK.
