Sexy R&B crooner Ee-De (a play on his real name, Eric Danell) was born in Wilson, NC. Growing up with five sisters helped Ee-De understand better than most, something the singer would use to his advantage as a member of a teen singing trio. With Ee-De making the ladies swoon with his heartfelt delivery, the trio was the hit of its high school and Ee-De was soon forgoing basketball practice for singing practice. Taking it solo, the singer was soon a local favorite and booked for performances every weekend. Seeing him as the next Usher but with a Southern, crunk twist, NME Recordings signed Ee-De and released his debut, A.K.A. Mr. Up & Down, in early 2005. ~ David Jeffries
