Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was sitting at the piano in our living room when I was around two or three years old- before I even started lessons. I was fascinated by how it worked: how each key could become part of a melody.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Pat Metheny, One Quiet Night Tony Anderson, Nuit Nuit- It’s one of the few albums I’ll listen to all the way through. The world feels spacious, warm and calm, and the continuity of the album feels like a gentle journey. And the musicians he brings in on certain tracks add something truly unique.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Fairy Light” It gives me joy and hope and a feeling of forward movement. It pulls me out of stagnation and into action, like a gentle push toward my next steps and my purpose. I created it in a prayerful, meditative state.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most memorable “moment” in my career so far is actually my studio. It isn’t one big high- it’s the steady feeling of having a place that’s mine. As a child, I always said, “As long as I have my piano, anything can happen - and I’ll be alright.”
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes - my bucket list is less about one specific milestone and more about a commitment: to keep sharing my music, and not let anything or anyone hold it back. I know it’s on me to make it happen — again and again.
