Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
From as early as I can remember, I've always been singing. But when my cousins gifted us with a karaoke game, my passion for it became so clear. I spent hours at a time singing on it, perfecting my score, not leaving 'til I sang each song perfectly.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Bruno Mars, Doo-Wops & Hooligans
Ed Sheeran, + (Deluxe Version)
Frank Ocean, channel ORANGE
These albums were very formative in my music journey. I was very shy in elementary & middle school, but got out of my shell by singing song requests $1 per song (often Bruno), + inspired me to play guitar, & channel ORANGE introduced me to R&B soul.

“Peonies”
Peonies is a time capsule of the last night my (ex)girlfriend and I had together. We packed up her things, she laid down & I sang to her til she fell asleep. I wrote the whole song right there and then. I finished her packing & held her til sunrise.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
I've fallen in love with the journey. From Lot 3 (my college band), to selling out the Troubadour, & now writing, producing, recording, mixing & mastering for myself & my friends. I feel so lucky. Following my dreams surrounded by people I love.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I'm just getting started - as a producer, singer-songwriter, or artist, I will have a billboard #1 hit, at least 1 Grammy, and will help lift up my family, friends and communities. We need some more representation in mainstream media.
