In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Playing on my great-grandmother’s piano at age 9 – it was horrendously out of tune and I wrote a few songs there that unfortunately I’ll probably never know how to play again. But it sparked my love for music and composing.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? BTS, Love Yourself 結 'Answer' Marina and The Diamonds, Electra Heart (Deluxe Version) Red Velvet, Summer Magic - Summer Mini Album • Marina – 'Electra Heart' has such a fresh sound and shows real creativity behind the dark persona. • BTS – 'Love Yourself' has such a powerful message and amazing music. • Red Velvet – 'Summer Magic' reminds me to have fun!

Tell us why you chose this song. “Make You Proud” I wrote this dealing with grief for my granddad - he passed away when I was small but the effects of it didn’t hit until much later. I wonder what he would think of me now and I hope that I can live in a way that’ll make him proud.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When Tiffany Young (Girls’ Generation) praised my cover of her song ‘Heartbreak Hotel’ on Glamour’s ‘You Sang My Song’ series. As a kpop fan, it was totally crazy and unexpected; as a musician, it felt like validation. What an experience!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There is still so much I want to accomplish in my career, especially releasing albums and touring internationally, to meet fans in every part of the world. I'm looking forward to creating more memories as a community that we can treasure together.
