About Emjay
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Growing up my mother was really into gospel music. She played a lot of Buchi (an igbo afro-gospel singer) on repeat and that music really built my foundation for understanding afro instruments and how to sing with them.
