b. Erald Brisco. Raised in the UK, Englishman, despite his adopted name, has actually spent the majority of his years in Washington, DC, USA. He first recorded as a teenager with the London-based Revelation Reggae Band. By the time of his eighteenth birthday he was to be found touring Europe alongside Ras Michael. He has gone on to release a slew of albums, most backed by his own six-piece Roots Vibration Band, that have attracted a sizeable American audience. His rich delivery has often been compared to that of Nat ‘King’ Cole, while his bass guitar skills are credited to the influences of Robbie Shakespeare (of Sly And Robbie) and Paul McCartney.
