In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Listening to vinyl at my grandma's holiday house in Tasmania, Australia. I hold that memory dearly. :)
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Flume, Hi This Is Flume (Mixtape) Jaron, it's hard to see color [When You're So Impossibly Far Away*] Porter Robinson, Worlds Porter Robinson's "Worlds" is a classic - no surprise there. Jaron's "it's hard to see color [When You're So Impossibly Far Away*]" is suuuper underrated. Flume's "Hi This Is Flume" mixtape is such a cool and creative collection of sounds.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Candyflip (Ft. Muira,)” It was amazing to collaborate with byegone on this tune - I love their style and they influence my style in so many ways. The vocals from Muira, really gripped me and I knew I had to work on this. They really let their hearts out on this one.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In October 2022 I played my first show in 3 years because of the pandemic - it was amazing to finally get back on the stage and the crowd went nuts. I absolutely love meeting people who listen to my music and share their energy.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Collaborating with as many of my idols as possible and playing overseas are massive bucket list items for me. I would love to play in as many countries as I can and meet up with the people I have met online over the years.
